The characteristics of the nylon enables flexibility of the Love Poetry blue-jade flexible bracelet. It can be opened to place on the arm then it will grip the arm and can be adjusted to style it. Nylon is effected by temperature, becoming stretchier when warm! Collaged sections of hand written 19thcentury romantic poetry have been dyed into the nylon using a screen-printed resists. Each part has been twice dyed by hand, giving individual variations.
I’ve taken a photograph of one of the publicity shots taken in the 90s to demonstrate how the bracelet may look on the arm. The bracelet in the photograph is a different colourway.

It can be adjusted to style it. Nylon is effected by temperature, becoming stretchier when warm! The two sections are joined with five jump-rings made with silver wire. Collaged sections of hand written 19th century romantic poetry have been dyed into the nylon using a screen-printed resists. Each part has been twice dyed by hand, giving individual variations. It has a fine matt surface on both sides similar in appearance to frosted glass as the nylon has been glass-bead blasted (a similar process to sand blasting but much finer)
