Curlew with two-holes sea-brick

The Curlew Balanced-Earth form is free-standing.  It is a different approach to balance.  A single stainless steel rod is formed to create a circular cradle to hold the vessel in space.   The solid form of the vessel contrasts with the thin line of the stainless steel rod which attaches it to the sea sculpted brick.

The Norfolk coast is being eroded with sea-level rise and extreme weather.  Bricks which have been tumbled in the sea are evidence of this tragedy.  Walking on the beach, I select sea-sculpted bricks to collect.

The postage charge of £7.50 for Royal Mail tracked & signed 24 hr UK delivery will be added at the checkout.  Debit/credit card and PayPal payments are accepted.

The outer diametre of the vessel is 11.5 cm and the length is 7 cm.  The height of this Curlew is 32 cm and the planted weight is approximately 1.36 kg.

The vessel rests in the frame and can be lifted out to enable planting.  The planted vessel and succulent, in the main image, is my own.   It is a Sedum Morganianum Burrito (Donkey's Tail) succulent.  Here is a link to other plant suggestions,
